Many Faces of Fisherman's Beach: This One Gloppy
Not a pretty sight but an interesting one.
There's no telling how the next tide will transform Fisherman's Beach.
It's the beach with a thousand faces.
Tuesday its face was trimmed at the waterline by glop. A line from one end of the beach to the other.
It was a couple inches thick and appeared mud-like until you kicked it and found it to have a foam-like consistency.
It appeared to be an algae mix that for some reason collected at the shore but we are unsure exactly what it was.
