Little Leaguers on Parade Sunday Morning

The girls and boys of the Swamspcott Little League assembled for a festive parade from Phillips Park to the Forest Avenue fields.

With a fire truck and police car as their official escorts, members of the Swampscott Little League marched from Phillips Park, down Humphrey, onto Pleasant Street, and finished up on the fields off of Forest Avenue.

Representatives of the baseball and softball programs, coaches, managers and quite a few fans, joined the marchers to the fields.

Sunday was also picture day for many of the teams, and the players looked sharp in their uniforms and caps.
