Jack Sweeney Retires from Friends Board
The Friends of the Swampscott Senior Center recently honored John T. "Jack" Sweeney on his retirement from their Board for his dedication and support for the Center.
Jack and his wife Barbara were honored at a luncheon recently at the Hawthorne By the Sea Tavern. Jack was presented with a clock inscribed with words commemorating his years of service and Barbara was presented with a beautiful bouquet.
The Board would like to take the opportunity during this special time of thanks to make Jack's contributions and dedication known to others in the community as well.
