The Swampscott High golf team is having a fundraiser on Oct 27, Saturday at Kelley Greens in Nahant at 1 pm. It's a shotgun event.

 

1) Newsbit of the Day: The Swampscott High golf team is having a fundraiser on Oct 27, Saturday at Kelley Greens in Nahant at 1 pm. It's a shotgun competition. Teams of four are $175 if paid by Oct. 20, and, otherwise, the cost is $200.  The price includes cart, golf, food, prizes and fun and games, Halloween related, at every hole.  And a Surprise Scramble format. The Big Blue golf team's final record is 11-5 and, in conference, 5-5.

Trevor Massey and Kevin Marescalchi will participate in NEC at Kernwood today and the following players are going to Hillview on Monday for state qualifying rounds:  Trevor Massey, Kevin Marescalchi, Anthony Springthorpe, Peter Wright, Cameron Swigor, Victoria Malatesta.  

2) Swampscott Scholars: SHS Class of 2012 graduate Danica Villanueva received the Matthew J. Kamin Rainbow Scholarship.
