Marian Court College to honor the 20 Under 20 of the North Shore

Marian Court College is honoring 20 high school students from the North Shore who are the social and community leaders of today and tomorrow.

The event – 20 Under 20 –will be held Friday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. on the campus on Marian Court, at 35 Little’s Point Road in Swampscott. This is the inaugural celebration of the area’s youth, being held in conjunction with the college’s 50th anniversary.

Margery Eagan, co-host of Boston Public Radio 89.7 and columnist for the Boston Herald, will be the guest speaker.

Students were nominated for their extraordinary service or leadership they provide to the community, in line with Marian Court College’s core values of compassion, integrity, justice and service.

The 20 Under 20 are: Andrew Baker of Austin Preparatory School; Marina McHugh and Jessica Walters of Beverly High School; Matthew Healy, Erica Patnaude and Nicholas Tambini of Bishop Fenwick; Allison Walsh of Danvers High School; Kristin Lauria of Lynn Classical High School; Chioma Gathoga-Ogbuike of Lynn English; Roberto Brown of Lynn Vocational Technical Institute; Austin Solimine of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School; Isabelle Banica and Taylor Mimms of Salem Academy Charter School; Lin Qiu of Salem High School; Jonathan McTague of Saugus High School; Ryan Switzer and Michael King of St. John’s Preparatory School; Carli DiMeo and Hannah McCormack of St. Mary’s High School, Lynn; and Nora Walker of Swampscott High School.
