Marian Court College creates new agreement with North Shore Community College

For many students, the path to a bachelor degree may begin at a community college.

Acknowledging that, Marian Court College and North Shore Community College have created a new Transfer Articulation Agreement, which will enable a smooth transfer of North Shore Community College graduates to enroll at Marian Court College.

Students who graduate with an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher, will be guaranteed admission into Marian Court’s bachelor’s degree program in Criminal Justice under the terms of this agreement.  Graduates with an associate’s degree in Business Administration Transfer (BAT), Accounting, Marketing or Management, with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, are guaranteed admission into Marian Court’s bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration.

“This is an exciting opportunity as we continue to grow as a four-year institution,” said Marian Court College President Dr. Denise Hammon. “I hope many members of the graduating class of North Shore Community College will take advantage of this seamless transition and continue their education.”

Marian Court has created a similar agreement with Bunker Hill Community College as well.

Applications are currently being accepted for the fall. Day classes begin Sept. 4 and evening classes begin Sept. 10.
