Cub Scout Pack 55 Honored

The Cub Scouts of Pack 55 in Swampscott recently earned the prestigious Messengers of Peace Award from the Boy Scouts of America. In order to receive this highly regarded designation, the boys worked diligently to help their community. The Cubs organized a recycling event, a beach clean up and a food drive. In addition, Pack 55 hosted children with special needs at the Pack’s Halloween party.

The Cub Scouts were honored by the Swampscott Board of Selectmen who declared December 12 to be Cub Scout Pack 55 Appreciation Day in town. Selectmen Glenn Kessler and John Callahan presented a Town Proclamation to the Pack.
