Dear Supporters,

Haitian Action Orphans Mission Inc. Annual Backpacks for Orphans Children school supply drive will run August 12 through August 30. The North Shore Youth friends of H.A.O.M are coordinating a community wide drive to benefit orphan children in Africa, Brazil, and Haiti whose families are unable to send their children to school with necessary school supplies.

 

H.A.O.M  is seeking our community’s assistance in securing the necessary school supply donations needed to fill over 1000 backpacks helping to ensure  orphan student in these targeted countries have the opportunity to begin their school year ready to learn.

 

Local businesses have volunteered to be collection sites during the donation drive. Please bring school supplies to the following locations:

 

                 Lynn City Hall:                 3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA

                 Lynn Public Library:        5 N Common Street, Lynn, MA

                 Full Color:                       26 Joyce Street, Lynn

                Eastern Bank:                  195 Market Street, Lynn

                

Monetary donations, payable to “Backpacks for Kids” can be sent to:

Haitian Action Orphans Mission P.O. Box 2221 Lynn, MA 01903.

Additionally, Haitian Action Orphans Mission is currently looking for volunteers to help assemble backpacks in Aug.  Please Contact Marie Anne Jean-Louis at 978-798-5159 or majl@haorphansmission.org if you would like to help assemble backpacks on August 30.
