Sounds of Swampscott

I have always been attracted to water. When I visit different places, seaports, sailing areas, beaches, oceans, etc, hold a special place in my heart. Naturally, the beach area of Swampscott is a favorite of mine. People find water-related sounds to be the most relaxing. The ostinato of ocean waves can relax or help you sleep. The sound of rain can be another source for relaxation. When I am home, the sounds of the heavy rains and thunder provide me a sense of security. The town of Swampscott is more than the beach. Route 1A provides a rhythmic concerto of car horns and motors humming. Neighborhoods are accentuated by the voices of their residents, children, and other sounds of daily life.
