Local woman, Michelle Nigro, a former New England Patriots Cheerleader, will be competing at the Miss Boston/ Cambridge pageant on Sunday, February 16th at 5pm at the Omni Parker House Hotel located at 60 School St, Boston, MA 02108.

Michelle is enrolled at Emerson College; her platform is: Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer and she will be performing a jazz dance during the talent portion of competition.

The Miss Boston and Miss Cambridge Pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss Massachusetts and Miss America pageants. The young women who are crowned Miss Boston 2014 and Miss Cambridge 2014 will each receive a $1,500 academic scholarship, a scholarship & prize package worth over $10,000 and will have a variety of opportunities to raise awareness and affect change for social issues that are important to them. 

Tickets are now on sale and may be purchased in advance for $30 and tickets purchased at the door will cost $35. VIP tickets are also available for $50.

The Miss Boston Scholarship Organization is dedicated to providing young women with scholarships, public speaking opportunities and support for Miss America's official platform: Children's Miracle Network.
