Tryout/Evaluation times are as follows:
Majors Division (ages 11 & 12 as of 12/31/2010) Two sessions: 8 am to 9:30 am and 9:30 am to 11 am
Minors Division (ages 9 & 10 as 12/31/2010) 11 am to 12:30 pm
Seniors Division (ages 13-16 as of 12/31/2010) 12:30 pm to 2 pm.

What to bring/wear: bat, helmet with facemask, glove and sneakers.

Students here earned a Very High performance rating on 2010 state testing in both English language arts and mathematics.
In an effort to further boost academic achievement, teachers at Swampscott High have started a curriculum review and are reviewing the school's schedule.
In addition to academics, students are offered a full plate of athletic programs and some 24 clubs and extracurricular activities.
