What should go here at 205 Burrill St.? It's in earshot and view of the Swampscott Train Station and next door to the China Green restaurant. The site is the former Papa John's building at 410 Humphrey St. The builder has a permit for a 2-story building — approved for restaurant/professional office uses.
We had a poll earlier on the question, but now we are asking for your comments on businesses you would like to see in the new building once it sprouts on the vacant Gateway lot at Humphrey and Redington? Construction has yet to start but an owner, Jayne Orloff-Carey, said in December that it could start any time. Real Estate agent Sara Taylor of Eagle Rock Retail said there are some proposals out on the 4,700-square-foot space but nothing is concrete.
