Save the Children Campaign

I recently signed up to help out with a very special campaign to find sponsors for children living in extreme poverty conditions through a program offered by Save the Children (www.savethechildren.org).

Save the Children has been around since 1932 and is a very well-run nonprofit.  They have a four star rating through Charity Navigator (the leading resource dedicated to intelligent giving) reflecting the organization’s financial health, accountability and transparency.

The Sponsor A Child program has helped save and enhance the lives of countless children around the country and throughout the world.  Through child sponsorship, two lives are changed forever: yours and the life of your sponsored child.

If you’ve ever considered sponsoring a child I’d love to have you come by our booth (just outside the entrance to Pottery Barn) at the North Shore Mall to learn more.

We plan to be there for the next several days.  If I'm not there, be sure to let my fellow booth workers know I sent you...they'd love to have you stop by!

Hope to see you there!

Thanks Elise. There are so many organizations doing excellent work in this country and around the world. Thank you for calling attention to Save the Children. It is too easy to sit in our sea side cocoon and ignore the basic problems children face in less fortunate communities. Bless you for your work.
