CONTEST EXTENDED: Your Photo Could Be Swampscott Patch's Facebook Cover
Upload a picture taken by you that best represents Swampscott. Not only will your photography gain exposure, but we're throwing in a $50 gift card.
Our readers are our site’s biggest assets and when we were thinking about what photo to use for the top of our Swampscott Patch Facebook page, we figured we’d leave it up to you. We are inviting you to share your favorite photo of your hometown.
So readers, now is your chance to get your best town photo out there for all to see. Upload a picture taken by you that you think best represents the town of Swampscott. The winning photo will be the featured photo at the top of the Swampscott Patch’s Facebook page.
We've extended the contest until noon on Monday, Nov. 19 to upload a photo you think best represents Swampscott.
Here’s how to enter:
- Simply click the green "Upload Your Photos and Videos" button above and upload your image (but first make sure you’re a registered Patch user).
- In the caption, let us know the location in town of your photo. We’d also love to know where you’re from and any other information you think we should know.
Our readers will help us pick the winner. You, the reader can vote for the winner in the comments section of an article that will be posted on Tuesday, Nov. 20. We will be taking your votes through noon on Wednesday, Nov. 21. The winner will receive a $50 gift card.
The winning photo will be the featured photo at the top of the Swampscott Patch Facebook page.
Editor's note: The date of the end of the contest was incorrect in the original posting.

I couldn't figure out how to add a caption, but my picture is a view of Fisherman's Beach from the ocean in a kayak!

I am trying to send a photo, however, it will not let me send it from my iPad?
