"The coaching staff is extremely pleased with getting a win over a very balanced Salem team. They presented some problems in some of the field events but our strong performances in the distance events and our depth in the sprints carried us to victory. Our 4 x 100 relay team made up of Maleek Newsome, Phil Smith, Richie Sullivan and Zach Blonder had great hand-offs which produced a state qualifying time (45.3). We have had great practice sessions and the majority of our athletes continue to set personal records with each meet. Our attention is now focused on the Danvers meet which will be in Swampscott on Wednesday at 4pm."
