Romney could 't have been more masterful in substance and style. Obama was flat and uninspiring. I am sure reps will be energized, some indeps in the swings, and Obama simply holds his base. If the next two debates and interims are similar, advantage to Romney to win gen election.

I think that Mitt Romney won the debate "hands down". He surprised us all. He performed confidently and professionally. He never hesitated once and continued to drive home his issues and those of President Obama. President Obama was a big disappointment. He was very unclear with his plans, was very confusing in his explanation of facts. I also noticed that every time Governor Romney spoke he looked at the President but the President either looked at the narrator or down. I hope that Mitt does just as good in the next debate (which I am confident that he will do).

To me it was round one of three, where Romney threw the best punches and Obama, never got started. Basically a non event . Romney looked good. May or may not have earned more points as his message content was basically unchanged. He did suggest that Big Bird should get outta Dodge

Iif tv presence is what wins a debate , Romney scored big. But is that how such important issues of leadership and policies should be decided? Not really. Romney emerged as a very pretty face, but really seemed to relish the thought of firing Jim Lehrer . Message content remained unchanged except for Mitts surprised exclamations regarding taxes. And of course no guest shot on Sesame Street for Mitt
