At 1:10 a.m. Monday night, officer Thomas Hennessy, officer Sal Caruso and Sgt.  Jay Locke responded to Cherry Street after one of Bogart's family members reportedly called police to report that he was being abusive, according to police.

While responding officers attempted to get Bogart to leave his bedroom, he reportedly spent 15 minutes hurling profanity-laced statements at them, "including his dislike of the  and personal attacks on specific officers," according to court documents.

When they gained access to the room, police noticed that Bogart "had numerous edged weapons near his person and on the nightstand (four to five large knives), an unknown number of knives on the floor" and a sword next to his bed, according to court documents.

While being placed under arrest for injuring a family member, Bogart reportedly kicked and punched arresting officers, causing minor injuries.

Bogart was released on his own recognizance and was ordered to remain on medication, surrender all of his weapons, avoid alcohol and no longer abuse the alleged victims.

He is scheduled to return to court on March 29 for a pretrial hearing.
