The Big Blue varsity girls basketball team defeated the Gloucester Fishermen 40-28 on Wednesday night and Saugus 48-29 on Friday night. And the Big Blue junior varsity girls defeated the Saugus Sachems 47-21 on Friday.
The Swampscott girls' varsity, junior varsity and freshmen teams have three games next week, including match-ups with rival Marblehead.
