Neighbor Donating Card Money to Fire Victims
A photographer and greeting card maker is giving 20 percent of her profits to the family burned out of their rental on Pine Street.
Superior Street's Tamar Skowronski is donating 20 percent from sales of her colorful Christmas and Channukah cards — between now and Dec. 31— to the family who lost their belongings in the nearby Pine Street fire.
The mom and dad and two children had recently moved into 84 Pine Street when the Nov. 30 fire started in the kitchen.
No one was injured but the family lost all their belongings.
Tamar, who owns the business Cards by Tamar Skowronski, does the photography for her greeting cards.
She said she has plenty of them in stock and they are great to give with gifts for many occasions or as thank you notes after the holidays.
