Did you hear it in Swampscott? The late-night explosions.
Are they from aliens with lousy aim?
Maybe it's secret government testing to make sure people are paying attention.
Whatever it is, the ka-booms in Salem and Marblehead have ignited conversation.
The latest report we are aware of came Tuesday night at 10:22. it was in the Clifton Avenue area. So it wasn't too far from Swampscott.
Early Saturday, Marblehead and Salem callers pressed 911 to report hearing what sounded like a firework or gunshot.
Have you heard it?

My dog hears everything and she did hear this noise, but when she was outside and jumped, I thought maybe this was work being done on a house in the area.

Dave,
I thought it was the sound of you complaining again. Could you explain your drainage problem again. Not sure if we know the story.

Sure all the water flowing down hill infiltrates the sewer lines and it gets backed up. Since you crowbar and basement choose to sleep downstairs and breathe in the methane your all getting backed up and ripping all night. It's not explosions your hearing it's eachother's keisters!!!
