Jessica Linscott and Roland Dow Returned to the Area
The mother and her boyfriend fled New Hampshire after her child was found with horrific injuries.
A man charged with inflicting serious injuries on a child, and the 3-year-old's mother, are back in New England.
Roland Dow, 27, and Jessica Linscott, 23, both of Plaistow, NH, were on the run from authorities for nearly two weeks. They were captured Wednesday at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Police say Dow, the mother's boyfriend, attacked and burned Linscott's son, James. The boy remains hospitalized with serious injuries including head trauma.
Linscott is charged with endangering her child.
Boston.cbslocal.com reported Linscott arrived at Logan International Airport in Boston, Mass. Saturday. Dow flew there on a different flight later Saturday, according to the news station.
The pair were transported to Brentwood, NH, and are expected to appear in a New Hampshire courtroom in the next few days.
Dow and Linscott did not fight extradition orders.
Dow is charged with first-degree assault. Linscott is charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor-level child endangerment. Dow faces up to 30 years in prison.
Police said they discovered the boy's injuries after he was treated at Exeter Hospital Nov. 14.
Police received a tip, prior to the couple's arrest, that they were seen in Swampscott and Lynn.
Authorities spent "tens of thousands" of dollars in the hunt for the couple, according to Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams.
The pair have denied media interview requests since their arrest.

It is beyond horrific what was done to that little innocent child....how anyone could even THINK to do what was done to him is a crime. Roland Dow and Jessica Linscott should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and beyond. How does being severely beaten, burned and extensive head trauma resulting in several brain surgeries & blindness sound? That is what you chose to do to an innocent child entrusted to your care. Good job.
