Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg shot scenes for the movie "Ted"  at 441 Atlantic Ave. in Swampscott Thursday night.

The movie is reportedly about a man whose childhood teddy bear comes to life threatening his current day relationships.

The movie is the first full-length feature film directed by Seth MacFarlane of “Family Guy” fame. The movie also stars Giovanni Ribisi, Patrick Warburton, Jessica Stroup and Joel McHale.

Some scenes from the film, slated for release in 2012, will be filmed at a home on Atlantic Avenue, right next to the entrance to Preston Beach, across the street from Beach Bluff Avenue.

The two leads have both had an interesting 2011, in addition to the thrill of being in Swampscott to shoot scenes from a movie. Kunis’s co-star in Black Swan, Natalie Portman took home an Oscar, and Christian Bale received a golden statue for his role in The Fighter, which was produced by Wahlberg.

The movie has a budget of $38 million and is scheduled to hit theaters on July 13, 2012.

Filming is expected to last two days in Swampscott, so head over today if you'd like to see a movie star or two.

The movie was written by MacFarlane and Alec Sulkin, who also works on Family Guy, The Cleveland Show and American Dad.

MacFarlane, who was recently the master of ceremonies on the Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump, was expected to arrive on set at at 5 p.m., according to a crew member.
