Swampscott residents Milton and Linda Fistel went out for dinner to Woodman's on Monday. They had no idea a movie was being shot there but knew something was happening after they arrived.

The back part of the Woodman's lot was a beehive of activity and home to scores of trailers. The Fistels evetually learned that the activity was filming for Larry David's HBO movie "Clear History."

After dinner, outside the restaurant, they saw Larry David walking and chatted with him and had their pictures taken with him.

They didn't see any other movie stars but they are out and about. Kate Hudson and Jon Hamm have been coming to the North Shore over the past two months to film Clear History.

Woodman's is no stranger to movie sets. A family dinner in the Adam Sandler movie Grown Ups was shot there back in 2009.

Now part of Clear History will be set on the Woodman's property.

Clear History's plot centers around a man — played by David — who quits his job at an electric car company. The company then skyrockets and is worth billions, and David's character is left with nothing. He later moves to a remote Massachusetts island and discovers his former boss — played by Jon Hamm — is renovating a home nearby, and David's character plots revenge.

Hudson is reported to be playing Hamm’s wife, who befriends Larry’s character, not knowing he is plotting his revenge, according to the Boston Herald
