Community Members Wanted For Principal Search Committee
The committee willinclude members without children who attend the high school.
Swampscott High School is looking for a new principal due to Mr. Millington’s appointment as principal of Marblehead High School.
A representative search committee is being formed and will include two community members who do not have children at the high school. Should more than two community members express interest in serving on the committee, two names will be drawn by lottery by an unbiased person.
Please send letters of interest via email to Kathleen Leonard in the Superintendent’s Office – leonard@swampscott.k12.ma.us by 3:00 p.m. on March 8, 2013.

So they are going to have a ‘Lame Duck’ Superintendent who is angry at the School Committee pick the next Principal who will be serving under a new Part-Time Superintendent his/her first year. That’s a recipe for success. Great job School Committee!
