Hope In An Art Pack
Swampscott Middle School student Moira Landry and her friends have been changing the lives of homeless kids for years, now.
Moira Landry likes art.
She likes what art can do for people, and what they can do with art.
The Swampscott Middle School student combined these likes and ideas when she formed the nonprofit Hope for Creativity in 2009.
Hope for Creativity, run by Moira and other young people, delivers art supplies to homeless kids in Massachusetts.
Moira hopes art will calm some of the kids' stress and channel some of their emotion.
Maybe they will feel at home in the world by expressing themselves.
For changing the world one art pack at a time, Moira Landry is our Whiz Kid for the second week in March.
