Carol Brady's Swampscott Roots
Some of you have probably seen this snippet from The Brady Bunch episode where a Swampscott reference arises in the dialogue.
From last year's season premiere of the television drama Breaking Bad to the old television sitcom The Brady Bunch, Swampscott has made it into the dialogue.
In the comments section for an earlier Patch post, a writer said a character in an episode of the Nickelodeon television show Zoey 101 also says she is from Swampscott.
Here is the YouTube clip of the Swampscott line on The Brady Bunch, a sitcom that ran on ABC from 1969 to 1974.
Last we knew it was still being shown on cable stations including Me-TV.

David Lee Roth lived in Swampscott as a kid, his uncle David Roth (for whom he is named after) was a doctor in Boston and lived there all of his adult life.
