The Swampscott Public Schools and the Swampscott High School Peer Leadership Initiative invites families to a special presentation at Swampscott High School tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 18.

Speaker Calvin Terrell will present "Violence or Virtue:  A Community Challenge" from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

Participants will talk about violence in all its forms — emotional, mental, social, and physical violence.

The goal will be to get people to think about what violence might be taking place as a result of their actions, what violence is occurring around them, and what precautions they could take to lessen the chance of violence, in its various forms.
