2) Newsbit of the Day: SHS dancers' Dancing with the Staff event.

Tickets: $5 in adavance / $7 at the door

3) Swampscott Scholars:  Trevor Whalen was named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for Fall 2012.

To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above for the semester.

4) Weather Watch: A chance of snow, mainly before 10am. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 39. Light and variable wind becoming west 9 to 14 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

 5) Big Blue Watch: The boys hockey team showdown with Marblehead is Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Salem State.
