I would like to remind everyone to shovel their sidewalks. During heavy snows it is hard to park around the schools so parents and children have to walk. When residents do not shovel, children have to walk in the street. This is very dangerous. Also, when only a narrow path is shoveled, parents with strollers also have to walk in the street. I know plows make it very difficult when they add snow but it is worth the extra work, it could save a life. Thank you.

Good suggestion. However, some residents are older and less healthy than others. And there are sidewalks where the town dumps snow from intersections. So, I'd also remind the drivers to be alert to pedestrians on the roadway and behind snowbanks.

Good points! Also, everyone should be a good neighbor, we removed snow from 2 houses on our street in addition to our own. The town should think about removing this snow instead of blocking our intersections. Getting to school is taking your life in your hands. Today, I walked down the middle of Reddington with cars on black ice with my son because neither side was clear.
